Caylee's Clogging Spring Recital at Ralston Valley High School

Caylee with three of her five sisters after her clogging recital.
Caleb is running away!  Another mom stopped him at the top of the stairs!

Our future soccer star!

The last Saturday morning in April, Rod, Caylee and I headed down to Castle Rock to watch Aiden and Brandon play soccer.

Brandon's game was on artificial fields by a really fun park.
I wondered around trying to keep Caleb reigned in.  He loves to dribble.  He is pretty good at it!

Cami's last Lacrosse game

Cami is on the dark blue team.  Her number is 24.
Rod and I drove down to Highlands Ranch to watch this game.
It was a very pleasant sunny afternoon.
Caylee stayed up in Arvada playing at Charity's house.
We set up camp chairs on the side lines.
 And enjoyed the game!
These pictures are from Iphone.  I was too far away but you get the gist of it.

They won!!

Last Enstallment for Kansas City Trip

As we have driven around the Kansas City area, I have loved seeing the lush vegetation and longed to explore it.  Cara took us to this nature trail just minutes from her house.  It was incredibly beautiful.  Cara was pretty tired since she had run the 1/2 marathon that day they walked around the zoo with us.  She was hoping to just walk a little ways with Jade.  But...Jade insisted on being carried and Layla who also loves these woods would not turn around.  We ended up doing the entire loop.  I carried Jade some of the way to try and help Cara out but Jade fussed and fought being with me.  She tolerated Caylee better but really just preferred her own special mom.

Sorry I do not have any pictures of the temple to post.  Cami and Caylee took some good ones but I do not have them on my computer at the moment to up load to the blog.

Next Installment of our trip - Kansas City Zoo

Union Station in Kansas City

What a fabulous Building!  I loved being in that gigantic ornate space.  It was beautiful.  In my minds eye, I could see all the people hustling and bustling about to catch trains, to say good bye to loved ones or those waiting anxiously for loved ones to appear.  I am so happy it is being used again.  We walked through it quickly to get our tickets to Science City (see post below).  I want to go back and just browse around.  It is a very fun old building.  We ate our picnic lunch on benches in the main room.
