Home Coming Week
Home Coming Week was a very busy one for Cami and the rest of us as well as we helped her. Probably the highlight of the week was the powder puff football event. Cami's team was 4th or 5th (I think). The weather threatened to rain during the games put thankfully held out.
Cami went to the dance with a big group of friends. They came to our house afterwards where we served fruit and chocolate (nutella) crepes. I think it was a big success. I think we had about 20 High Schoolers over that night/morning.
Bike Race in Golden
There has been a big bike race in Golden for the last couple of years. Callie meet us to attend the race. It was a fun and exciting event. The racers circled the downtown area as a warm up before heading to Boulder and into the mountains. The race concluded six hours later. We were long gone by that time.
Girls Night Out
Caylee and I had some time to kill one Friday night before picking Rod up the Airport so we went window shopping. It was a fun girls night out.
Combined Choir Concert
Cami and Caylee had the rare opportunity to sing in the same choir concert. Every Fall, the choirs from the area elementary schools, two middle schools and the High School put on a concert. What a fun event! It is exciting to see the progression of skill level. We really like the High School Choir teacher. It seems like this event is one of his favorites. It is always very crowded so you can't be late or you will be standing at the door wishing you could get in.
